Texas A&M System unveils program to track data about graduation, costs

AUSTIN — Texas A&M University System officials rolled out an interactive system Monday that they pledged would provide data on how the 11 A&M institutions are doing on graduation rates and other factors.

A&M hopes that by tracking data in the EmpowerU program, legislators, regents and administrators will be able to set goals and view their progress. They will also collaborate with public school systems to prepare students to be better teachers, particularly in math and science.
