Texas state judge rules to extend injunction in Planned Parenthood case

AUSTIN — A state judge decided Thursday to extend an injunction that prohibits the state from barring Planned Parenthood’s participation in the Women’s Health Program.

Texas hopes to roll out its own state-funded Women’s Health Program soon, free from input by the federal government, which provides 90 percent of Medicaid funds to the program.
